Accessing the website

Your browser sends technical information to the server to load this website, including your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request and browser information. Depending on your browser settings, a referring page may also be transmitted. This happens even without tracking.

The purpose is to deliver the website and maintain its security and availability. The proposed legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable, secure website. The live website is planned to be hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. The actual access and security logs, their retention periods and the production configuration still need to be verified.

Cookies, tracking and language choice

The current website does not set cookies or use local storage, session storage, analytics, advertising pixels or fingerprinting. Your language choice is carried in the page URL. No consent banner is used because the current implementation contains no nonessential device storage or access requiring consent.

Fonts, images, integration logos and the hero animation are served from this website. Loading these assets does not contact font, video or social-media providers. Any future tracking or third-party booking integration will require a fresh assessment and an updated notice; where consent is required, it must be obtained before that processing starts.

Email enquiries

We plan to use a Zoho mailbox for hello@westkreuz.com. It has not yet been set up. Once activated, your email address, message and any details you provide will be processed to respond to your enquiry. A mail link opens your own email application; clicking it does not submit a website form.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract with you or steps at your request before such a contract. For other business enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. Providing these details is voluntary, but we need a return address and sufficient information to answer.

Enquiries should be deleted once their purpose has been fulfilled, unless legal retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further storage. The Zoho account, contracting entity, processing location and applicable deletion and retention arrangements remain to be confirmed before activation.

Planned contact form

A contact form is planned to send your name, email address and message to hello@westkreuz.com. It is not implemented or connected, so no form data is currently collected or transmitted. The form service, delivery method and retention arrangements will be documented here before the form is enabled.

Demo enquiries

Demo booking is not connected in this preview. The demo buttons display a local notice and send no enquiry or form data. A live booking service will be described here before it is activated.

Service providers and data transfers

Vercel provides the planned hosting and delivery infrastructure. Its data-processing addendum distinguishes processing on our behalf from processing for which Vercel acts as a controller. Processing may involve the USA and other countries outside the European Economic Area. The addendum provides standard contractual clauses for applicable transfers. The applicable contract, subprocessors and transfer safeguards must be checked for the selected plan before launch. Zoho is the planned email provider; the account, contracting entity, processing arrangements and any transfer safeguards are not yet confirmed.

Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object for reasons relating to your particular situation. Processing must then stop unless compelling legitimate grounds override your interests and rights, or processing is needed for legal claims. You may object to direct marketing at any time; this website currently performs none.

To exercise your rights, contact us at the email address above. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects under Article 22 GDPR.

Complaints

You have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
